Welcome Chef, Don Agate to the Finger Lakes Lavender Festival


Please help us welcome the new Chef at Kreb's Resturant, Don Agate to the community. Don will demonstrate "Cooking with Herbs" on Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th at 1:00.


"Don Agate is a magna cum laude graduate of the Johnson & Wales University culinary school in Charlotte, N.C. He acquired expertise and impeccable taste at restaurants like Blue Point Grill in North Carolina's Outer Banks, Hotel Jerome and Kenichi in Aspen, CafĂ© des Artistes and Landmarc in Manhattan, the Mirbeau Spa and Sherwood Inn in the Finger Lakes region in upstate New York, and Club Med in San Salvador, Bahamas and with a Parisian chef at a Montreal bistro. Most recently he was the star chef at Eddie V's Prime Seafood in Fort Worth, Texas.   

His love for food and all things related was fostered at a young age by his mother who participated in French foreign exchange programs yearly, which exposed him to the French culinary scene.

Chef Agate enjoys donating his time for the surrounding communities and fund raisers. “Giving back to the people, businesses and charities that support us all year long is the least I can do.”

Most recently Chef Agate was the recipient of the Fort Worth Magazines Top Chef award to add to his already impressive list of awards and accolades.
Agate joined Eddie V's Restaurants in 2010.
